Random Babblings: Oooh...New York Grill...

Celebrated our 6 months anniversary with a lovely Champagne Brunch at the New York Grill at The Park Hyatt!! :) Yippee....

Reservations are quite hard to get apparently, but we did eventually squeezed one for a really late lunch at 1.45pm. Had to 'starve' ourselves in preparation for the sumptuous lunch to come.

The New York Grill is located on the 52nd floor of the Park Hyatt Tokyo with these dramatic floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The view of Tokyo is just breathtaking. Thank goodness for the clear and sunny day. It was so bright that I was almost compelled to wear my sunnies throughout the entire meal! ;p haha....

Okie our meal!! The Champagne Brunch course started with a glass of White Sparkling Wine. I made the waiter speak and explain the entire course to me in Japanese. And B just looked at me and insisted that the waiter repeat everything in English! I swear I thought I saw the waiter give me a dirty look. But hey, I really did understand what he said. Or I did understand like 80% of what he said! Anyways, having starved myself of breakfast, I just headed straight to the appetizer buffet. As for the main course, I chose the chicken while B had the steak. As for desert, really couldnt resist, so I had like 3 slices of cakes, from orange tart, cheesecake and some fruit cake. I really wanted the chocolate cake but I couldnt after much consideration :p
