Mutant Potato

I love having random conversations with my galfrens..like How you been doing? Whats the latest fashion back home? Do you have that shoe in my size? Any good sales going on? Checked out any new drinking holes? haha...

But these days, some funny random conversations that have been going on between Galfren (who is currently residing in HK) and me have moved from "have you conquered the Bomberland Touch or hey, I completed the baking game!!" to "how to cook this special dish? Or have you learnt anything new in the kitchen? Have you tried this special milk? Where are the best buys for meat in our respective supermarkets. (Mine in Tokyo and hers in Hong Kong). You know that you are getting older or becoming more and more like a おばさん. haha...

B's and my latest obsession at the moment? Growing our Hokkaido potato plant on our balcony! Well, we were kinda depressed that our pandan leaf couldnt survive the harsh Tokyo climate, so instead of wasting a good pot of soil. I told B to just plant the potato for fun! And who knew the potato was so resilient. It just grew and grew. Check the pic out. I think its only like 5 weeks old and its huge!! I call our out mutant potato plant! But B thinks that I shouldn be calling the plant names.. cos it would affect the 'emotion' of the plant. haha... And in case you are wondering.. NO, I dont think we would be harvesting the potatoes anytime soon.
