Went to Sabatini for a hearty Italian dinner... And boy was it good! The dining hall is rustic annd cozy. One has the feeling of stepping into a traditional restaurant with the decorated Roman murals. In a review that I read, it said that the menu is a faithful replica of the original Roman fare. So that's nice to know.
We started with a Parma Ham with Honey Melon and a Caprese salad. I love the Caprese salad cos I get to chomp on the mozzarella cheese and juicy tomatoes!
Next up, we chose a seasonal dish that was a risotto with truffles and white asparagus. For the main, we both shared the Wagyu beef that was cooked to perfection! :)
That's B refusing to smile for the cam.
And after we finished the 4 course menu, I was hoping that I would enough space for dessert, but unfortunately was throughly stuffed. But we were served with this delightful platter of petite fours to whet our desert appetite!
If you want Italian food at reasonable prices with a cosy ambience, try Sabatini. Frommers gave it a 3-star rating! :)
