I have always been bitching that there aren't enough cool places and restaurants to try out in Singapore. But with our little red dot touted to be the next 'Monaco' of the East, I am sort of tempted to start a new dining section on new eateries to try out on my blog.
So here I go a-listing down the next few yummy places to go. Personally I haven't been there, but have been reading about the rave reviews, so am just putting a bookmark for my own use. However, if you have been there before, pray tell if it is any good! :)

2am: Dessert Bar - a newly opened desert eatery - tucked in the corner of Holland Village. I had a quick look at the menu and it was rather interesting. Desserts took the center stage as the main courses whilst your normal hot food took a back-seat as the sides.

I guess I would want to try the Blackberry with lip-smacking ingredients of parfait, lychee air, basil and pinecake cake (middle image). The 'Twix' dessert sounds heavenly as well, a burnt caramel mouse with peanut crumble, home-made Valrhona chocolate ice-cream (first image)! And apparently the warm Chocolate tart with wild nettle, salted caramel with blood orange is a winner(last image)! Wowz! Desserts are priced from $13-15.
I know where to head to the next time I am at Holland V after my foot reflex session at Ashi. hehe
