Last week was such a killer... I was amazed that I finally decided to cut myself some slack and be taken on a nice dinner with B and his friends! B is becoming a foodie lately, sniffing out the yummiest places to head to. So obviously when he decided to invite me along, I better go!! :) Yumz... all that dieting is going down the drain!
Anywayz, dinner was at Gunther's, a modern French restaurant, tucked in Purvis Street. Dinner was divine!! The wines selected for dinner were perfect!! We had the finest served specially for this group. And the food, it was delish delish delicious!!!
I let the pictures do the talking! We had 2 appetisers that were quickly gobbled down. Next up, was a lovely serving of Angel Hair pasta served with a dollop of Beluga Carvier! Thereafter, we were served with Baked Scallop with Parma Ham. The broth from the scallop was just sweet and warm. And my fave appetiser was the Caramelized Foie Gras! I really loved the crunchiness and the sweetness of the foie gras!
Next up, the highlights from dinner!! Truffles!!! More more yumz!! The group was feeling stuffed from all the good food!! But we still pressed on!! Hehe... the last 2 dishes were the Sole fish topped with Sakura Prawns and the last dish for the night was the Wagyu beef served with onion crisps! Double double yum!!
Coupled with great company and divine wine! The night was just stellar in my opinion! We made the most noise in the room and stayed till they practically had to chase us out! haha
