These days, the top of my shopping wish-list are SHOES! Working in a bank has its disadvantages, for me that would be the DRESS CODE! I miss wearing my frilly-lala dresses and quirky tops. I miss prancing around the office in my Beverly Feldman flats and sparkly slippers. That I really miss! I am now confined to pencil skirts, covered up shoes (that really hurt my bunion) and well tailored pants. I miss casual Fridays, I wanna wear my wide-leg jeans and just lounge around before heading out for a wind-down relax session with the gals. And the list can go on.
But thankfully, the princesses-in-tow are shoe lovers. Each and every of them really love their shoes. 'Carrie' we are not, for Jimmy Choos and Manolos are still on our wishlist, but their shoe wardrobes are all very extensive. From Pedro Gracia, Pura Lopez, Beverly Feldman, Ras, Unisa and loads more. I used to churn looking at the about a hundred bucks shoes. But now I am starting to realize the importance of a good cut, a good fit and that 'look-at-me, i-am-pretty' style!
Thanks to my new job, I have just invested in like 2 pairs of cover-ups. Next on my wish-list, this beautiful pair of Jamie Mascaro! These pretty ballerinas are always the shoes that I have lusted over. I guess the time is now to go get them! :)
