Great Gemz

Last Sat evening, B brought me to Tomo Fine Dining at Marina Square. The spanking new Jap restaurant that he has recently been raving about!

Its a rarity to find great Japanese food in Singapore and I kinda miss the food back in Tokyo, so this discovery was really good as we can finally fulfill our Japanese craving!

That was an extensive dinner that we had. I highly recommend the Sharksfin Chawanmushi, the Sashimi Platter (the uni melts in ur mouth and the scallops are really fresh). Oh, check out the Ebi Sashimi, remember to tell the chef to save the head and deep-fry it for another yummy dish!

As for the yakitori, I still prefer Kazu but hey, its not that bad here as well. For fish-lovers, the KINKI fish is grilled to perfection. B loves it but I just like the way it sounds.. KINKY....haha.. And for the finale, order the fish noodles. These aren't your ordinary mee or bee hoon okay, apparently, its specially made or flown in. It had a bouncy feel in my mouth! :p

Well, if you are ever around the area and clueless on what to eat at Marina, try out Tomo Fine Dining located at 02-03. Sure beats having to queue with the crowds!
