Fallen Star

Spent a leisurely day with cuz doing nonsensical stuff (again!) as she was on MC! Hehe..days like these are going to end soon once I start working. Anywayz, it was just fun hanging out and relishing our fashbash jumble sales. As she is on a 'high', she suggested that we should go ahead to do the SPC car boot sales happening at DownTown East. But that one is abit siong, cos its from 9am-9pm. I don't think I can stand the whole day screaming, 'pls buy this, its really cheap!!'.

Back to the point, as we happily headed to Plaza Sing for a much-needed kopi break at Toast Box, my jewel-crusted star pendant suddenly dropped on the escalator. Cuz turned around and said, 'hey I heard something dropped!' And I saw my pendant missing from the necklace. 'How can the clasp be so loose' I exclaimed!! Sigh and there it was, stuck in the grooves of the escalator. All efforts to try to rescue it were futile!! It was just stuck there and when the maintenance guy forcefully tried to jabbed it out to my horror!! Then this Carrefour guy came along and tried to push the pendant out, which he did. And he just threw the pendant on the floor. Double sigh, the star that I come to love has fallen, all bashed, bruised and badly disfigured. Its diamonds have all shattered and gone! :( sobz sobz.

I been saving to wear this pendant for almost a year, trying to find that perfect necklace to match it. And now that I did, its all bashed up! I only wore it out once!! Sobz!! Cuz said I should bring it back to complain about the poor quality of the pendant. But I doubt the people at AP can do anything about it. Looks like I am resigned not to have this shiny pretty star! :(

Went to play mj with Min and her pong-pong warriors. It was like attending MJ101 at the MJ Academy with Headmaster Min and her VP Joey. Attendees in tow were me and Mel. Haha..MJ session was fun filled with nonsensical anecdote's for the night. ;p
