Decluttering my life!

This weekend saw us busy cleaning and cleaning our new place. These were just some of the boxes that we moved in. I got 'terrified' after a while when the entire house was filled with nothing but just boxes!!

Phew!!

But I must say we both did a good job of cleaning it up and just packing the place up to a livable standard! But storage place was not sufficient and so I ended up DE-CLUTTERING tons of clothes. I now have a new mantra, STOP shopping on IMPULSE and to cut down on my BAGS plus SHOES! Cousin's philosophy is to throw or give away a pair of shoes for every new pair that she buys. I probably need to adopt that mantra for everything thing that I buy. Sigh..goodbye addiction! Now that I try to cut down on shopping for my personal favorites, I realized that I loved shopping for the house. So I buy pretty things to decorate the house with. Very soon, i will need to end up de-cluttering that part of our lives as well.

So after all that weekend packing, the both of us are totally beaten and tired out. We decided to treat our tummies for some japanese grub! Yakiniku at Le Meriden Hotel. This place is really great for Japanese BBQ, and its rather authentic, as loads of Japaneses go there.

B waiting for his fave Ox Tongue. And thats our Yaki-Onigiri. It was really quite fun trying to barbeque the rice. Topped with soya sauce, its really a yummy treat! But I still miss the rice ball at Teiyandei!
