I must say this is definitely one of Tokyo's best kept secrets and I am glad that Cat told me about this fantastic restaurant before I left Tokyo, otherwise I would just 'beat' myself for not going there before departing Japan.
Instead of a normal dinner, we decided to go there with the intention to celebrate our 8 months Anniversary! :)
We were warmly greeted at the door by our server who promptly brought us to our table set against the backdrop of Tokyo Tower and the twinkling lights of Tokyo. A surprise awaited for us as we sat down. Napkins with our names sewn on it. Can you believe it? Except that they spelled my name wrongly. But I just didnt have the heart to make a huge fuss out of it. I was in such a good mood! B just kept laughing and said I should tell them to get my name changed!

Then B whipped out my Anniversary cum leaving Tokyo cum Birthday present all rolled into one! I felt bad for not preparing anything. I didnt want to make a fuss out of it. Thought it was nice just to celebrate the occasion with a memorable dinner before we leave Japan. Afterall, we don't celebrate every month that we have been married!
Dinner was served...I must say it was really really good! Highlights...definitely the foie gras and the steak!! Lip-smacking good!! And the portions were just nice.. not too big and not too small..just sufficient for one to whet your appetite!

After dinner, we were ushered upstairs for desert! A lovely surprise awaited for us!

VERDICT: We really had a wonderful time! I am glad that we went there before leaving. Thanks Cat for your great recommendation!! I would definitely miss this place and hope I would come back to celebrate another memorable occasion! :)
