It was so so warm today...actually its more like its so HOT HOT HOT today! The heat is really putting me off big time. I don't feel like going out and leaving the comfort of my home. But then with my few days left here, I know its such a waste just being at home. Sigh...dilemma! My threshold for the heat is usually very high but this is way beyond my normal threshold..... sigh...

Anyways, met up with Harriet for lunch this afternoon. It was a toss between Harbs or Cogito. Harbs have always been our favorite haunt especially when we feel fed-up with Japanese or when we feel that we deserve a treat after a week-long of tough Japanese. The lunch set at Harbs is one of the best value for money! For 1400yen, you get a trio platter of small sandwiches, complete with a drink and half a slice of cake!

Okie..am totally digressing..back to Cogito! Decided to bring Harriet to Cogito. B bought me there for dinner once and I loved the cosy greenhouse dining atmosphere in that evening that I went in Spring.

Cogito serves French cuisine with set lunch meals starting from 2000yen and above. For 2000 yen, we had a cold corn soup (totally welcoming in this heat!), a main course of either fish or meat. I had the veal served with creamy butter rice. Harriet had the fish with scallops in saffron sauce. Hers looked alot healthier than mine! ;p Thereafter, we decided to be indulgent and added on a dessert for an additional 600 yen. I got the fresh fruit platter with champagne jello and mango sorbet. Totally thirst-quenching!
