Gimme my big bowl of UDON!

Went to my fave udon restaurant with the family... I really like the place..but B doesnt like to go cos the queues are always really very long! But it usually moves quite fast!

With the family here, its great...cos we get to order tons of stuff to SHARE!! That means more to try and not so much more to eat. HAHAHA... I wanted to try other udon flavours that Phoebe recommended. So in the end, we ordered:
1) Katsu Curry-Don (marz had that)
2) Ebi Creamy-Don (steph had that)
3) Tenpura Udon (boring me had that)
4) Nabeyaki Udon (mom had that)

The bowls are really huge as well... but the udon filled like only 1/3 of the bowl. And I quote my sister "Wah Lau..I can stuff my head in the bowl!" hee hee...its true.. u can really do that!

SUMMER BLOOMING!!!!

Summer is here..and around Tokyo, the beautiful flowers are site to behold! But apparently today marked the start of the rainy season that I have been so dreading...sigh!! But well, we still braved the rain and headed to SHINJUKU for some major retail therapy.

Pa was sick, so while he stayed at home to rest, the gals went for some bonding session over lunch at my fave TONKATSU restaurant! Cheap set lunch set that starts from 900 yen!! You get a pork cutlet, with loads of healthy cabbage, jap rice, pickles, miso soup plus sherbet!! Absolutely worth every yen spent!!

After we stuffed ourselves silly, we braved the rain and headed to Isetan. While mom stocked up on her CPB beauties... my sisters tried their luck at their new fave shopping haunt.. UNIQLO!!

For dinner, we went to an underground steamboat restaurant to warm ourselves! We had the normal chicken one and the kim-chee steamboat. Stephy whacked 3 tablespoons of the spicy sauce and boy was it spicy!!

Lastly, another strange invention by the Japanese! FCUP COOKIE!!!
