Weekend ramblings...

After not doing anything for the whole of Saturday, decided to 'try' and walk to Roppongi Hills for dinner.
Had tempura at Tenpura Mikawa!!

Outside the restaurant...not really in the mood to take frontal shots...

Set course dinner starts from 10k yen per person...
We had like about 10 different varieties of batter-dipped yumz... from ebi, whiting, shishamo, eel, and yasai...

After the filling dinner, we wanted to check out the huge beer fest at Roppongi Hills, but as it was the tail end of the festival, it wasnt that happening..so in the end, we went to my fave 24-hour shopping center (ala Mustafa but a way lot happening!) DONQUI-QUOTE!!

Then on Sunday, we caught the last installment of the 'Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End'. Found it a little too long, its about 3 hours. Well, the storyline was abit mished-mashed, abit hard to follow if you didnt really catch or remember what happened in the previous 2 movies.

Thereafter, we decided that we should just soak in the fun and get out there to mingle with the rest of the crowd at the Beer Fest. So we did the ugly 'SINGAPOREAN' thing of drinking beer at the park ala Ah Beng style. As you can tell, there is only one Ah Beng in the family!

Buying Orion Beer (hailed from Okinawa)

Us sitting by the pavement drinking our beers!

I leave you now with some background infor of the beer festival then...

Cheers..... :0
